“Growing up I always wanted to become a Veterinarian. Once I graduated from Veterinary college, I worked at the Race Course as well as at a private small animals clinic. It was here that I realized I needed to bring more awareness to people about the needs of animals and provide a haven for pets where they can be wild and free with no restraints. This led to the birth of PetStepin’. I started PetStepin’ in 2009 as an open system of boarding and daycare, where pets were socialized and allowed to mingle and play with each other all day. These concepts were very new as PetStepin’ was one of the first places to have such a system where animals were not leashed or kept locked in cages. My idea was to provide a healthy, hygienic, loving environment where pets and their parents can relax and enjoy their holidays apart!! With our grooming spa, pet parties and adoption drives I’m always trying to bring something new to our facility and am open to creative ideas!! After practicing in the Middle East for the last few years, I’m back in India to make a difference by bringing a more holistic method of approach to pet care. PetStepin’ has always a been my “happy place” and I hope to share it’s magic with many more!!”

“Working at PetStepin’ would have it’s fair share of work tension and hurdles as any job would, but when I would be having a crazy busy day, things seem less complicated when I would just look out and see two dogs playing in the sun or chasing some leaves or prancing in a drizzle…better still nudge me for a warm cuddle and fall asleep on my lap while I try to manage my work with this warm body on me…And not only the doggies but the warm purrs of the kitties or sweet sound of the birds and squeaks from the guinea pigs. That’s what made it all worth it!!
At the end of the day, one feels a sense of accomplishment and it’s a very thankful job for sure. I mean I even took home my best friend (Dino) from PetStepin’…with whom I can’t imagine a single day without. He even helps me with all my other foster animals. Working at PetStepin’ really teaches you how to be a better person and for that I will always be grateful :)”

“After working for 4 years in the manufacturing sector – I am now at my dream job! Being with these fur babies means unconditional love and endless cuddles and on top of that, I have learnt so much from them. Be it being more positive and patient to see the fun, lighter side of life! While working here has its own set of challenges, but it is all worth it. Being part of the PetStepin’ crew has been great so far and I look forward to my continued journey! “

“I have always known that I want to spend as much time as possible with the animal kingdom, and when I found out about this opportunity at PetStepin’ I was super pumped! After all; dogs are my favorite people! 🙂 Looking after these cuties has given me something new and exciting to look forward to every day! One of my favorite parts is spending that extra time with the shy, anxious, or scared babies and watching them transform into the goofballs that they are, start trusting us humans and enjoy their stay here! Yes just like any other job, there are tough and tiring days, but when I see their cute doofus faces and get all the warm greetings at the start of my work day, it’s all worth it! “

“Animals show humans affection as they receive it…and I get reminded of this every morning when I “step into” Pet Stepin’ 🙂 with numerous welcome barks, excited jumps, and big circling wagging tails… Coming from an animal-loving family became my greatest strength as I was taught from childhood, to not fear animals but to love them and care for them… Working at Pet Stepin’ entails hard work like any other job but the contentment is unlike my earlier jobs in the Hospitality sector & IT sector…With like-minded peers, beautiful loving pets around me, time just flies each day and I look forward to the next day… I now believe it’s true when they say “Choose a job you love & you will never have to work a day in your life”

“I came to stay at PetStepin’ with my family one year back. It is alot of hardwork but my favorite part is when I’m outside playing with the doggies after their evening dinner. I am really glad to be part of the PetStepin’ team.”

“I am in charge of cooking for the managers and the pets. I have learnt so much about how some dogs need special diets to help deal with various medical conditions. Riday, my son, has learnt so much from all these animals and for this I am grateful to PetStepin’ .”
